Quick Integration API

Introduction

The Quick Integration API allows listing of newsobjects in an unauthenticated way.
Belga offers this possibility for organizations that want to have a basic integration without the need for fetching the full article.

The main idea here is that the user gets redirected to the belga.press platform, where the user can log in and view newsobjects.

Workflow

Once the legal agreement with the customer is in place, Belga can activate the Quick Integration Feature which will become available in the web platform belga.press on desktop.

The customer can easily copy-paste the URL to the Quick Integration using the login of the customer.

API concept

The Belgapress Quick Integration API is a read-only REST API.

Responses are in json.

Authentication

Quick integration API calls are unauthenticated.

The Quick Integation URL is unique for each customer and content. This URL will also serve as the identifier of the customer, for monitoring, billing and analytical purpose.
It is in the benefit of the customer to avoid spreading the URL to unauthorised parties.

Legal Constraints

Belga is licensed to distribute content of Belga’s shareholders and partners.
For legal purpose, Belga has to monitor at all times any usage of this content. Therefore, integration with Belgapress is limited to the constraints of the legal agreement between Belga and the customer.
